Quick verdict

The bottom vent zip is the reason to pick this one. Feet are where children dump heat. Opening a few inches at the bottom drops temperature without unsealing the torso, so an overheating child cools down instead of ejecting from the bag entirely.

The rest is well judged. Cotton lining rather than slick synthetic, so it feels like bedding instead of a nylon sack — that matters for a child sleeping outdoors for the first time. A two-way anti-snag zip designed so small hands do not jam it. A 190T breathable polyester shell over high-density hollow-fibre fill.
